FUNDING THERAPY

Families or schools cover the cost of sessions.

If you have private medical insurance or you are a member of a hospital fund/ scheme, you may be able to reclaim some of the costs of Speech and Language Therapy.

Some families have been able to fund Speech and Language Therapy through personal budgets secured as part of their child's Education and Health Care Plan. More information on personal budgets can be found here.

For children with a diagnosed disability, families have been able to apply for and use Disability Living Allowance to fund sessions.

Depending on your profession you may be able to apply for professional benevolent funds to put towards therapy.
